Anthony lived at Bloody, Newington, N.H. He was a freeman in 1662; in 1667, he was Corporal; in 1663, Leftenant; was a Selectman, a representative in the Legislature, and "the big, tall man, named Anthony Nutter, who with Wiggin, in Governor Canfield's time, visited Mason (the claimant of New Hampshire plantation) when the latter had his wig burned, his teeth knocked out, and met with other similar accidents".
