Cornelius resided in Cochecho Point, N.H. as early as 1685. He is identified as the father of Samuel Corson, who was living in Dover, N.H. and in combat with the indians in 1710. This identification is found in "New Hampshire Provincial Papers" Vol IX p. 155 and in "The Genealogical Dictionary of Maine" and "New Hampshire" by Charles Thornton Libby, part 2 p.162.

Samuel seems to be the only child of Cornelius whose identification is certain, others may have been Abigail, Hannah and Thomas.

Abigail Coursin or Coursonwhitt ( both names appear in the record) is recorded as being taken captive by the indians before 1695. "Coleman's New England Captives Carried To Canada", Vol 1 chapter IV p.92 and Matthew Cary's List of October 1695 p.75
It is believed that Hannah and Thomas where taken as well.
