There is a wealth of confusion surrounding what were apparently several John Halls in New England with no proof as to which is which. Also the wives were listed as Elizabeth Layton, Elizabeth Learned, Bethia Learned, Bethia Farmer and so on. It appears nobody knows what they are doing.
