20 William (17), York, 24 in Dec 1677, fully proven half-bro. of Wm. (18). N.E.Reg. 36, 40). He grew up with his stepfa. White, without benefit of education. In Philip's War, Nov 1677, with his half-bro. Sampson White, Shadrach Walton (his cousin?), two Davises, Robert Booth, John Leighton and others, he went from Portsm. on a looting exped. to Cape Porpus. In 1700 wid. Anne H. was liv. on the homestead 'between Thos. Trafton's and the Harbor's mouth, land formerly called Inglesby's Point, later Hilton's point. Appar. she was *Anne Parsons, dau. of John P., for whose wid., Elizabeth, W. H. was bondsman in 1692. In 1699 the ct. ordered him to return a cow to her (then w. of Peter Hinkson). Ch: WILLIAM, b. 1678. JOSHUA, wit. Benj. Trafton's will 4 June 1706. Taken by Ind. in Aug. 1707, still in Canada 1710-11.

*HILTON 20 WILLIAM, LINE 23. Omit sentence beginning Appar. she was Anne Parsons.

*Her maiden name may have been Beale, for William Hilton, by deed dated March 5, 1681, recorded with York Deeds, Lib. 7, fol. 194, conveys the above described to land granted by the town or York, to his loving brother, Arthur Beale. Beale may, however, have married a sister of William Hilton.
