John White (1639-1668) was the sole child of his father and predeceased him. John died when he was only 29 years old. His will was not executed, impllying he died quickly, but was witnessed by Nathanial Saltonstall, one of the initial Salem Witch Trial judges who resigned as judge early in the proceedings in disgust at the conduct of the trial by Judge Hathorne. John White's son was only 4 or 5 when his father died.
