He moved to Marlborough, NH. in 1765 with his father. He removed to Strafford, Vt. c1776 and Cherry Valley, NY in 1796. It is said that he had three sets of twins and nineteen children in all. He was a selectman in Strafford, Vt. as well as in the Vt. Militia.
He was a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church of Cherry Valley, NY. 9 Jan 1804.
