Thomas Richardson Jr. (1645-1721). Thomas married (1) 5 Jan 1670, in Cambridge, Mary Stimpson, (she is named in the town vital records of Cambridge as Mary Stevenson). They were married by the eminent Daniel Gookin. She died 7 Jun 1690, the mother of 9 children.

Thomas had moved from Woburn to Billerica preivously known as "Shawshin" about 1667, settling on about 900 acres of land, lying in the easterly part of town, and known as the "Cambridge School Farm". It was a little west of the Shawshin River and north of the present day Boston Road. Served in Captain Samuel Gallup's Company in Expedition to Canada by way of Albany in 1690 which utterly failed; Billerica Selectman 1688, 1691, 1694, 1709, and 1718; Deputy to General Court of Massachusetts Bay Colony 1703-04. Sometime after, he had conveyed to his eldest son Thomas; a, farm near the Boston road, now Washington street. On 14 Oct 1705, he deeded to his son Andrew, a farm north of son Thomas. And he conveyed a farm to his son Nathaniel, a farm north of Andrew. There is also a deed to his grandson Thomas, son of Thomas, dated 25 Feb 1709/10. 

His will was dated 10 Apr 1719 and was proved 24 Mar 1721 (recorded in Middlesex Probate Records, xvi.241). Inventory taken 6 Apr 1721 and valued at £542.0.0. In the will he mentions wife Sarah -daughter Mary Farmer -Children of his son Thomas (deceased) -Mentions specifically John Richardson, son of Thomas; 87 acres of upland on the south-east side of Shawshin River; and 45 acres of meadow and upland at Lubbers Brook; and 2 acres of meadow at the lower end of "my content meadow". -Son Jonathan the refusal at two hundred and sixty pounds of his homestead with the meadow and upland and several other parcels of land. -Son Nathaniel a certain lot and to his son Andrew, a certain lot of land. Sons Andrew and Nathaniel appointed executors.

He was buried in Old South Burying Ground, Billerica, Middlesex County, MA His wife Mary Stephenson was also buried there.
