Jonathan Nason was born in 1644 in Kittery, Province of Maine, now York County.¹ He was the son of Richard Nason and Sarah Baker.^1,2 Jonathan Nason married Sarah Jenkins, daughter of Reynold Jenkins and Ann (?), in 1670 in Kittery, Massachusetts Bay Colony, now Maine.^1,2 Jonathan Nason was killed by his brother Baker with an oar in a canoe on the Piscataqua River, Massachusetts Bay Colony, now Maine, in 1691.^1,2
     Administration of his estate was given to his widow on 23 March 1691/92.²
