Jonathan Nason was born in 1644 in Kittery, Province of Maine, now York County.1 He was the son of Richard Nason and Sarah Baker.1,2 Jonathan Nason married Sarah Jenkins, daughter of Reynold Jenkins and Ann (?), in 1670 in Kittery, Massachusetts Bay Colony, now Maine.1,2 Jonathan Nason was killed by his brother Baker with an oar in a canoe on the Piscataqua River, Massachusetts Bay Colony, now Maine, in 1691.1,2
     Administration of his estate was given to his widow on 23 March 1691/92.2
