Anne is a very important person because it is through her and her father, Francis Blount, that links to very early ancestors are possible. There is a mystery about her husband, Thomas Berwick or Barwicke. There are conflicting details about him and all accounts list him as an only child (or at least do not mention brothers and sisters). However, his mother and Ann's mother appear to be the same. If so, that would mean she married either her half brother or full brother if Francis Blount and Francis Berwick are the same person. Note, though, that an alternative parentage exists for Thomas Berwick/Barwicke, so husband and wife may not have been closely related.
