"In the inventory of George Brown's estate it appears that he was abre wer by trade. An abstract of his will follows:

George Browne of the Citty of New Sarum in the countye of Wilts.?? Tom y elder son Henry the some of twentye shillinges. To my sonneWilliam t he like some, at the age of one and twentye yeeres. To mysonne Georg t he some of five poundes. To my sone Abraham the likesome. The two last l egacies to be delivered to my Master FrancisDove, for the benefit of m y said two sons. One half of all my goodesand ymplements of houshold s tuff wth the lease of the tenemts which Ihold from the Chabr (Chamber) o f the Cittye aforesaid to my twoeldest sons Henry and William.
